April is a fabulous mentor and coach. She is patient when you’re trying to process an idea. She is honest but kind. She’ll tell you the truth but won’t hurt your feelings doing it. Her knowledge is profound but she’s not afraid to tell you she doesn’t know. She’s great at researching what she’s unsure of. She is there for you when you need her. The only complaint I would have is that she works too hard!

My Pitch

I was invited to New York City in July, 2017 to pitch to entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchk. Gary is the CEO of VaynerMedia and VaynerSports and has his finger on the pulse of current social trends. We chatted about trauma-informed mindfulness and why I feel it is important in the realm of big business and sports.

This is my pitch to Gary Vaynerchuk, entrepreneur and CEO of VaynerMedia. I traveled to New York City to speak with him about mindfulness in sport. Check it out!

MY manifesto

"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return."

I believe that our destiny lies in our ability to love ourselves unconditionally. This comes from having the ability to see within and be with all that we are. When we show up authentically for ourselves and others, we can achieve greatness. It is my goal to help others gain skills and strategies to develop the lives of their dreams, all through compassion, non-judgment, and awareness.

About Me

MY NAME IS april

I am a mindfulness coach focused on revealing the effects of accumulated stress and how to approach life through meditation, movement and mentorship. My approach includes studying how we respond to our environment and developing strategies to reduce overwhelm and live a more centered life. I developed the 8 Elements Approach after 12 years in the educational setting. Studying in the realms of trauma, neuroscience, movement, attachment and human development, I developed this approach to help those who need strategies to find their true selves and live the life of their dreams.
